Parrot Type Details

Parrot
The ultimate humiliation is to be like everyone else.

The Parrot type possesses overwhelming curiosity and a wide range of intense emotions. Because their focus shifts frequently, others see them as 'unpredictable free spirits,' but they are simply living honestly according to their 'passion' at that exact moment.
The moment they become interested, they charge forward with incredible concentration, but they can lose interest just as quickly. They build extremely dry relationships based on the principle of 'not chasing those who leave, and not rejecting those who come.' Being highly curious and full of topics to discuss, they naturally become the center of attention wherever they go. When they find someone they like, they do everything together, but if their interest shifts elsewhere, contact may suddenly cease.
They cannot stand it when things don't go their way. Being extremely competitive, they have a strong desire to always hold the initiative. While they love taking care of others—often to the point of being meddlesome—they conversely loathe having others step into their own private life or territory.

How to get along with Parrot type
They dislike having others interfere with how they do their work. It is most efficient to simply set the goal and leave the rest to their 'current mood.' They are not suited for long-term, steady, or repetitive tasks. They shine in fast-paced environments or situations that require the momentum of an initial startup phase. Additionally, it is not uncommon for conflicts to arise when multiple Parrot types are present in the same workplace.
Try not to worry if contact suddenly stops. The secret to a long-lasting relationship is to maintain a dry stance, thinking, 'They're just interested in a different area right now,' and being ready to have fun again when they return. Maintain a 'comfortable distance' by satisfying their 'desire to take care of you' while refraining from interfering in their affairs. Absolutely avoid trying to 'pull rank' (show dominance) over them.
When a parent is a Parrot type, they tend to be too harsh with their family or children. Rather than imposing their own values, it is important to respect each child's individuality and acknowledge their differences. Maintaining a certain sense of distance and securing their own time and space even within the family will lead to mental stability. If there are things that simply cannot be understood between family members, it may be best to consider independence rather than forcing mutual understanding.
